Meanquest pursues its external growth strategy with the acquisition of MIB Suisse
Meanquest became the majority shareholder of MIB Suisse on July 15, 2024. MIB Suisse, which has been based in the canton of Geneva for 27 years, supports companies in French-speaking Switzerland with their IT projects. This acquisition reflects Meanquest’s determination to accelerate its growth and strengthen its presence in the Geneva market.
A logical and coherent buyout
The synergies between the two companies are obvious:
- MIB Suisse is recognized as a major player, maintaining close ties with long-standing partners and manufacturers, including HP-inc and HPE. MIB supplies high-performance equipment tailored to the needs of companies, international organizations and institutions in the canton of Geneva.
- Meanquest will bring its know-how to MIB’s customers through its various business lines, including an IT service center, expertise in infrastructure implementation and Cloud services.
Meanquest's goals and ambitions
Fifteen months after acquiring the security company Sequal en 2023, Meanquest takes another step forward in its growth ambitions. This acquisition strengthens Meanquest’s presence in the canton of Geneva. With this operation, the Geneva team will count 30 employees (18 from Meanquest and 12 from MIB Suisse).
Maintaining the independence of MIB Suisse
MIB Suisse will remain independent and will not be integrated into Meanquest. The structure, management and operation of MIB Suisse will remain identical, with Fabrice Laporte as Managing Director.
Statement by Olivier Gallet
“By combining our skills and experience, we will be able to offer Meanquest and MIB Suisse customers a global service with high standards. Fabrice Laporte and I share the same passion for a job well done and the enthusiasm to achieve excellence.”
Statement by Fabrice Laporte
“For many years, we have been regarded as a key player in the canton of Geneva for the provision of infrastructure for public institutions, international organizations and private companies. This merger with Meanquest, by creating a group on a human scale, will give us access to a wide range of specialized services that meet our customers’ needs in terms of both expertise and proximity. This symbiosis will enable us to take a major step forward in the services we offer our customers.”
